On 2 December 2025, the BIO² consortium gathered for its second partner meeting, bringing all partners together in an online format. After the successful kick-off meeting in Bologna earlier this year, the virtual reunion offered an opportunity to discuss progress, align priorities, and strengthen collaboration across the project.

The meeting agenda covered updates on milestones and deliverables, as well as short progress reports from all work packages. Partners also engaged in in-depth discussions on the environmental and sustainability assessment (WP7) and the activities related to dissemination, communication, exploitation and strategic collaborations (WP8). These exchanges underscored the strong interconnections between scientific and non-technical efforts within BIO² and highlighted the project’s shared commitment to impactful, coordinated work. 

The consortium also confirmed the location of the next in-person meeting:
May 2026 in Tromsø, hosted by NIBIO. The team is already looking forward to meeting on site in northern Norway to continue advancing BIO²’s objectives together.
